Travel By Air
The closest airport is Portland International Airport (PDX), which is a twenty-minute drive from downtown Portland. There are no hotel shuttles available to the Hilton. Rental cars, taxis, and ride services are available just outside the arrivals level. The Trimet Max/Light Rail can be found on the main level, at the south end of the ticket lobby beyond the Starbucks. The Red Line services PDX, and trains depart every 15 minutes. It takes about 45 minutes to reach the hotel (get off at the Pioneer Square North stop, then walk 3 minutes to the hotel). The cost for using Max is $2.50 and tickets can be purchased at the PDX station.

Things to Do
June is a great time to visit Oregon. Not far from the hotel, you can walk or catch a bus to Washington Park, where you can stroll through the International Rose Test Garden, which has over 10,000 individual rose bushes representing over 610 different rose varieties.
While there, you can also visit the Oregon Zoo, the World Forestry Center, and the Hoyt Arboretum, which features 190 ridge-top acres and 12 miles of hiking trails with 2,300 species of trees and shrubs from six continents. Washington Park is also home to the famous Portland Japanese Garden, encompassing 12 acres with eight separate garden styles, and includes an authentic Japanese Tea House, meandering streams, intimate walkways, and a spectacular view of Mt. Hood.
If you prefer indoor activities, the hotel is a short walk from the Portland Art Museum, the Oregon Historical Society Museum, and the world-famous Powell’s Books (the largest independent new and used bookstore in the world).
Downtown Portland also hosts many world-class restaurants, food carts, bars, and music venues.
